You may have noticed this website doesn't have an obnoxious cookie consent banner. I'm a big advocate of building a privacy focused web and so you won't find any non-functional cookies on my site. In fact, the only functional cookies are dropped in by hCaptcha and within the sites admin panel (which I really hope you haven't made it into🤞🏼).

In the interest of clarity - my site uses a self-hosted version of Umami for analytics. This lets me know how many times a page has been visited - without tracking a bunch of unnecessary and intrusive metrics that I have no business in knowing and don't really care about either! However, if you're like me - an extension in your browser has probably blocked this anyway.
